1) Sign up with Airbnb.
It’s fast and easy to sign up with Airbnb by using this link. This way you'll also get the chance to chat live with an Airbnb superhost. You can connect with your Facebook profile or your email.
2) Profile details.
Fill out your profile and include a facial picture of yourself. Airbnb no longer requires a profile picture because of their discrimination issues, but if you want to book a room inside someone’s home it is a HUGE courtesy to the homeowners if you show them who you are. Many owners will simply not rent to you if you don’t take the time to identify who you are. Just take a moment and consider the risk to them. And please don’t upload a photo of your cat or the sunset.
When filling out your profile, include some information about you. Hosts want to know who is staying with them, if you’ve got family, if you are working or studying, etc.
3) Profile validation
Validate your profile. Send a copy of your government ID in order to prove that you are who you say you are. In addition, this is something that hosts can filter by. Many hosts will not rent their homes to potential guests who have not gone through this step.
4) Submit your payment option.
If you don’t submit a payment option, you’ll not be able to make any reservations. You can add your credit card or your bank details.
